Crackling Bread

Ingredients

• 1 cup cracklings (diced)
• 1½ cups cornmeal
• ½ cup wheat flour
• ½ tsp soda
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 cup sour milk

Procedures

1. Mix and sift together the dry ingredients.
2. Add milk, stir in the cracklings.
3. Form into oblong cakes and place in greased baking pan.
4. Bake in hot oven (400°F) for 30 minutes.
