French-fried Potatoes I
Description
In Romanian: Cartofi prajiti pai.
Ingredients
Procedures
- Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into sticks.
- salt and let sit with the salt for a few minutes.
- Then dry with a cloth and fry in hot lard.
- Remove from the pan with the slotted spoon, draining the lard well.
- Serve hot as side dish for roasts and ground meats.
- Drain and strain the remaining lard and keep for future use.
