Green beans with dill

  1. Cook beans in salted water till tender, not soft.
  2. Melt lard or butter, add onions and sauté till limp, add chopped dill.
  3. Then add flour making a roux.
  4. Add 1 cup of water, sugar and vinegar and stir while the sauce gets thick.
  5. Add drained beans, and mix, if too thick add a little more water.
