Kartöflustappa - Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Boil the potatoes, peel and mash well.
  2. Add some milk and stir well.
  3. Continue adding milk until the desired consistency is reached (should be fairly thick, and definitely not runny).
  4. Add the butter, sugar and salt to taste.
  5. Warm up, but do not boil.
  6. Optional: use a pinch of ground nutmeg as well as salt and sugar.
