Low-cholesterol Mock Hollandaise Sauce
Description
Makes 1½ cups. 5 mg cholesterol per tablespoon.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Hellmann's real mayonnaise
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp dry mustard
- ¼ tsp salt (optional)
Procedures
- In small saucepan with wire whisk beat all ingredients until smooth.
- Stirring constantly , cook over medium-low heat until thick (do not boil).
- Serve over vegetables or fish.
