Molasses Donuts



  1. Mix egg, sugar and butter.
  2. Add molasses and stir.
  3. Add flour and spices.
  4. Stir baking soda into sour milk and add to dough.
  5. Mix in and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  6. Turn chilled dough out on floured surface and roll out to small surface.
  7. Cut out and fry, turning once.
  8. Drain on paper toweling.
  9. Roll in cinnamon sugar.
