NORWEGIAN PEA SOUP

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Sort peas.
  2. Place in boiling water at moderate heat; add salt pork.
  3. Cover and simmer about 1½ hours.
  4. Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer, stirring, 1 to 1½ hours or until quite thick ).
  5. Add salt if desired.
