Oatmeal Cookies à la Guinea

Ingredients
1 cup
butter
1 cup
brown sugar
1 cup
white sugar
2
eggs
, beaten
1 sachet
vanilla sugar
1 sachet
baking powder
3 cups Quaker
oats
2 to 2½ cups
flour
¼ teaspoon
salt
Procedures
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
cream
butter
and sugars.
Add
eggs
, one at a time.
Into a separate bowl, sift
flour
with
salt
and
baking powder
.
Gradually add
flour
mixture to
butter
mixture.
Stir in
oats
.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
