Old-fashioned Egg Custard Pie

Ingredients
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ⅔ cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup evaporated milk
- ¼ cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Procedures
- Cream butter.
- Gradually add sugar, beating well.
- Add eggs and flour.
- Mix well.
- Stir in milk and water and vanilla.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake 20 minutes at 400°F then reduce heat to 300°F for 15 more minutes.
