Pan-American Steak
Description
Purchased from Rodgers Estate in Greenville, Texas in 1994. Date on card says it came from a 1940’s magazine. This is very good. I made it for supper club and it was a huge hit.

Ingredients
- ¼ pound butter
- juice of 2 limes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ cup burgundy wine
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon monosodium glutamate (I left this off, since msg is not good for you)
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 pounds Porterhouse steak, 2” thick
