Pancakes with Strawberry Sauce

Description

The sauce can also be served as a dessert sauce for pound cake, bread pudding, pancakes, angel food cake or ice cream.

Ingredients

• Pancake mix (or your favourite pancake recipe)

Strawberry sauce

• 1 Package (16 ounces) frozen strawberries, thawed (the kind with juice)
• 2 Teaspoons cornstarch

Procedures

1. Follow the instructions on the package mix package or use your favourite recipe.
2. Serve, topped with strawberry sauce

Strawberry sauce

1. In a medium saucepan, combine juice From strawberries and cornstarch.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
3. Cook 2 minutes longer.
4. Add strawberries and heat to serving temperature. Do not overcook the strawberries.
