Potato Stew (Shtitha Batata)
Ingredients[edit]
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 5 Cloves garlic -- finely chopped
- 2 Cups water
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon pepper
- 1 Teaspoon cumin
- 1 Tablespoon paprika
- 1 Tablespoon tomato Paste
- 1 Pound Potato -- cut in rounds
Procedures[edit]
1) Heat the oil in a pan, add garlic and 1/4 cup of water and simmer for 1 minute.
2) Add salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, tomato paste and the rest of the water.
3) Bring to a boil, add the potatoes and cook over low ehat for about 30 mintues.
4) Serve.
