Rice with lentils

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup dried Lentils
• 2 or 3 tablespoons oil
• 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt
• 1+1/2 cups water
• 3/4 cup good rice

Procedures

1. Wash the dried Lentils and soak them for two hours. Drain.
2. Bring the water, salt, and oil to a boil in a saucepan.
3. Add the rice and the soaked Lentils.
4. Cover the saucepan tightly and reduce heat to low.
5. Come back in twenty minutes, not before.
