Smooth and Creamy Frosting

  • 1 pkg. Jell-O vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling (or any other flavor, 4 serving size)
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 container Cool Whip topping, thawed (8 oz)


Mix pudding mix, sugar and milk in small bowl. Beat slowly with rotary beater or on lowest speed of mixer until well mixed, and 1 minute. Fold in whipped topping. Spread on cake at once. Makes about 4 cups or enough for 2 nine inch layers.
