Southern Pan-fried Bass

Ingredients
- 1 x 2 to 3-lb bass
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 tbsp salt
- ½ cup cornmeal
Procedures
- Cut fish into serving pieces.
- Heat shortening in fry pan over medium heat.
- Mix salt and cornmeal; roll fish in cornmeal mixture.
- Place fish in fry pan; fry for 3 minutes or until browned.
