  • Serves: 6-8



  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, margarine or butter, milk, and vanilla.
  3. Drop by spoonfuls into boiling strawberry mix; cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
  4. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
  5. Serve with ice cream.
