Description

Purchased from Rodgers Estate in Greenville, Texas in 1994. Dated 1956.

Ingredients


Procedures

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, brown Bacon and the beet or venison; drain.
  2. Add the seasonings; cook and stir for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, celery, Onion, carrots and green pepper; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
  5. Stir in beans and cook 30 minutes longer.
