- This recipe yields about 1 cup of vinaigrette.
Ingredients
- 5 strips bacon, diced
- ¾ cup water
- 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Directions
- Place bacon pieces in medium saucepan; place over medium heat.
- Fry bacon until crisp; add water and vinegar.
- Heat to simmering.
- Meanwhile beat egg in small bowl; add sugar, flour and salt.
- Mix well.
- Add to mixture in saucepan.
- Bring to boil, stirring constantly;cook until thickened.
