Description

Bukhoro pilaf with raisins

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a cauldron, sear sliced onions in very hot oil until reddish-brown.
  2. Then add carrot strips and cook until golden.
  3. Stir in water, salt and water, then add to cauldron.
  4. Add rice and more water, just 1:1.
  5. 5 cm above the surface of rice.
  6. Cook uncovered until water evaporates.
  7. Cover and cook on low heat 20 – 25 minutes or until done.
