Rolled Cake with Walnuts

Ingredients

• Same quantities as for Rolled Cake with Marmalade or Preserves

Filling

• 8 oz / 250 g ground walnuts
• 1 cup milk
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla or a little rum

Procedures

1. Boil the milk with the sugar and walnuts at low heat, mixing continuously until you get a soft paste. Add vanilla or rum.
2. Use this paste to spread on the dough prepared the same way as for Rolled Cake with Marmalade or Preserves.
