Bitter Gourd Sambol Recipe

Ingredients
3
bitter gourd
½ teaspoon
ground turmeric
½ teaspoon
salt
1 medium
onion
, sliced very thinly
2
fresh green chilies
, seeded and sliced
oil
for shallow frying
lemon juice
to taste
Procedures
Wash the
bitter
gourds.
Cut crossways into fairly thin slices.
Rub with
turmeric
and
salt
and fry in
oil
until golden brown on both sides.
Drain on paper.
Then mix with the
onion
and chilies.
Season with
lemon juice
and more
salt
if necessary.
Serve.
