Castagnaccio (chestnut cake)

Description

  • 4-6 servings

Procedures

  1. Mix the flour with a little warm water and the oil;
  2. Add the Sultanas, pine nuts, 1 pinch salt and the Sugar and combine well.
  3. Roll out to 1 cm [1/2 in] thick and place on a baking tray [cookie sheet] greased with the butter;
  4. Bake at 180oC [350oF / Gas 4] for about 30 minutes.
