Sri Lankan cabbage with coconut



  1. Wash and shred the cabbage and place in a pan.
  2. Chop onion and chile and add to the cabbage.
  3. salt and water and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir, then add the coconut, pepper and turmeric and cook for a further 2 – 3 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with lime juice prior to serving.
